Garden Entry Form

Would you like immediate access to the VVL Community Garden?  Please fill out our form and the gate code will immediately be emailed to you!  In the event the gate codes need to be changed, this information will help us in relaying the new code to you.

Please carefully read the garden rules before entering the VVL Community Garden:

            - Any VVL member may enter the community garden to enjoy the amenity.

          - VVL Members may not take herbs or other produce from any garden bed unless they are a "Friend of the Garden" or have reserved a bed for the growing season.

          - VVL Members may not participate in gardening activities unless they are a "Friend of the Garden" or have reserved a bed for the growing period.

          - Members of the VVL Community must refrain from making any alterations or tampering with garden beds or other gardening equipment unless they are a "Friend of the Garden" or have reserved a bed for the growing season.

          - VVL members who have become a Friend of the Garden or who have reserved a bed for the growing season are entitled to make use of the herbs from the Communal Herb bed and take produce from the Communal Garden beds when such herbs and produce are ready to be harvested.

Please Consider becoming a Friend of the Garden for a nominal $10 annual fee!

Friends of the Garden will have the opportunity to participate in the Community Garden.  A Friend of the Garden must be a VVL member and be at least 18 years of age or older.

Friends of the Garden do not have voting rights, the right to hold office in the Garden Club, or other Garden Club privileges.

Friends of the Garden are allowed to reserve a bed using the registration form.  The registration form is good for one (1) season.   A season is defined on the reservation form.  Each gardener must re-apply to reserve a bed each season by the date listed on the reservation form. There are no automatic Garden Bed Reservation renewals.

All Friends of the Garden will be required to attend 6 scheduled community garden work parties within a 12 month period to remain in good standing and be able to share in community herbs and community food beds.

A liability waiver is required to be signed by all Friends of the Garden.

Friends of the Garden are required to notify any changes in contact information (address, phone, email) to the Garden Club. This ensures timely delivery of renewal forms and other information.
