Val Vista Lakes Garden Club

Vision

The Val Vista Lakes Garden Club was officially established in 2019, chartered in February of 2020, with the vision of guiding a community learning adventure around the planting, growing, and nurturing of vegetables, trees, and flowers. The Garden Club recognizes and celebrates the idea that working in nature also creates friendships, community resilience, and even a food source to promote sustainable living.  Through the sharing of knowledge with each other and with other communities, the VVL Garden Club intends to become a part of a wider sustainable network of people growing food and beautifying our environment.

Ongoing Garden Club Projects

If you enjoy being outside, getting your hands dirty, and meeting new people, join the VVL Garden Club and come garden with us!! Ongoing opportunities for involvement exist in the Rose Garden, the Community Garden, and the Growing Kids program.

ADDING BEAUTY TO OUR COMMUNITY

One garden at a time…

“Gardening is more than an activity. It’s a passion – a way to connect with the earth and each other. You can join us for a single event, or become a member. Either way, you are welcome!”
