Our Garden Club Annual Meeting will be held in the Community Garden at 5pm on Saturday, November 16th, in place of our regular morning meeting.  It will be a potluck, so bring something tasty from your kitchen.  At our Annual Meeting we hold elections for officers and this year the following people will be running for office:

   President:               Rachel Thomas, President

Vice President:       Mickey Galbraith, Master Gardner

   Secretary:                Amanda Lindquist-Ozyagcilar, Master Gardner

   Communications:   Leslie Johnson

   Treasurer:                Carla Clark

We want to thank Wendy Rhodes for her service as our Treasurer the last two years.  She was invaluable sorting through all the receipts of a very active fundraising and building period.

The Purpose

The VVL Garden Club wants to create Serenity Gardens in the VVL community. The idea behind this is that there may be eye sores or neglected areas that can be turned into functional, beautiful areas where VVL residents can enjoy the lush vegitation in our community.

Get Involved

There are hundreds of different design styles for serenity gardens. We would like to create designs that fit the location. For instance, a serenity garden next to the lake would have a different look and feel than a serenity garden near a park.

If you want your voice to be heard, please join us as a committee member or a volunteer!
